Let's talk about kitchens...

In our new house we have outdated very dark solid wood kitchen cabinets.  I don't love the color or the style but it's not in the budget right now to replace them.  I LOVE white kitchens so that's the plan.  It's going to make such a difference in the space and I promise to share it with you guys!! 

I love white kitchens because they are open, airy and clean feeling.  But I also worry that they can be sterile so I've debated the idea of a splash of color or grey lower cabinets.  Below are pictures in the three categories - white, white with color, white & grey.  What's your favorite??

Happy Spring!

Sorry I have been MIA.  I've been a bad blogger.  But I have a good excuse...we are buying a house =) and of course still planning our wedding which is less than 6 months away now.  That is insane to me. 

In other news, it's officially SPRING, although it doesn't feel like it where I am, soon though I hope!

Sunday Night Style

This was supposed to be Fashion Friday however, that cute little fish named Nemo decided to morph into a blizzard that left 20+ inches of snow around these parts and we were without power for about 24 hours.  We are okay now and I'm here to bring a little style to your night!

Wedding Wednesday

With my wedding less than eight months away (aahhh!!) I have been searching for the perfect shoe.  You see, I'm 5'9 and my handsome fiance is about 5'10 so gorgeous (insert sad face here) heels are out of the question. 

I wanted to find a beautiful purple flat since it is in fact one of our wedding colors but then my mom threw a curve ball telling me I should wear ivory/white flats.  I'm not entirely opposed to white/ivory flats for the ceremony and fun purple flats for the reception. 

In the meantime, I have found some white/ivory flats that are calling my (credit card) name right now!
